ABOUT SERENA
Oranges grown with pride
Serena feels like family. Of course this is not particularly surprising, as our connection with the patres familias D. Damián Serena Plá goes back to when our company first started. It’s a long-standing, close relationship which has ultimately resulted in us becoming exclusive suppliers of the magnificent Serena oranges. We have complete and utter trust in each other, we speak each other's language and, after all these years, can continue to rest safe in the knowledge that the very best oranges and mandarins still come from Valencia and the surrounding area.
ORIGIN
Scorching sun and rolling orchards
Serena oranges come from Valencia, Spain. The juiciest oranges and mandarins grow in beautiful orchards. Winding, unpaved roads link the green orchards up with picturesque villages. The scorching sun and very fertile Spanish soil result in the perfect conditions for the oranges. Once picked, the harvest is packed and taken to our warehouses. We subsequently take responsibility for the distribution of ‘our’ Serena oranges.
OUR PRODUCT
Especially packaged for you
The Serena oranges were only packed in classic wooden boxes until quite recently. Beautiful and authentic to look at. But those fantastic classics aren’t always the best option. That’s why we have now also developed new striking cardboard boxes in addition to the wooden boxes. The boxes boast an all-over print of decorative regional tiles. They can be stacked more efficiently, they’re lighter in weight and more durable. Ultimately ensuring Serena is presented even more beautifully.

We know Serena's orchards from A to Z, the family like our own. The knowledge and relationship we have built up over the years allows us to guarantee food safety at all times, without ever losing sight of the best possible quality. We grow and package with care for the environment. We continuously minimise water usage and CO₂ emissions, thereby respecting our environment for a better future.
